Focusing mainly on the Racial Equity fund:
They support charities where more than half of their Trustee Board self-identify as belonging to a Black, Asian or minority ethnic community.
The scope of ‘Minority Ethnic communities’ includes those that have historically experienced marginalisation, racialisation, oppression and prejudice.
Your charity will support people from specific Black, Asian or minority ethnic communities to overcome any of the following 11 complex social issues:
Addiction and dependency
Asylum seekers and refugees
Care leavers
Domestic abuse
Homelessness and vulnerably housed
Learning disabilities
Mental health
Offending, prison or community service
Sexual abuse and exploitation
Trafficking and modern slavery
Young parents
The funding will cover Core Unrestricted Funds.
