The Police and Crime Commissioner's Action Fund is provided by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire and administered by Hertfordshire Community Foundation.
The fund, which comes from the proceeds of crime, empowers local groups to find solutions to community safety problems.
The Commissioner is keen to work with and fund a range of community organisations with a shared interest in delivering positive outcomes and improved services for residents.
Projects will help to deliver the aims of the Commissioner’s Community Safety and Criminal Justice Plan for Hertfordshire (2019-2024) which sets out the priorities for ‘Everyone’s Business’.
Grants are available to local voluntary and community groups, charitable and not-for-profit organisations, and parish, town and district councils developing innovative projects to increase community safety in Hertfordshire.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for up to a year.
The closing date for applications is 13 April 2021 (5pm).
