Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales - Grants Programme

Unrestricted grants to support small and medium-sized local charities, with a proven track record of helping people in England and Wales with complex social issues, to recover and renew beyond the COVID-19 crisis.

There is a total of £9.5 million for 2021. Unrestricted grants of £50,000 over two years. The Foundation expects to fund around 190 charities in 2021.

In addition to the funding, charities will be supported by a Regional Manager who will work with them to identify priority development needs and support them to access a wide range of organisation development support to meet those needs.

The Foundation will ringfence 25% of its funding to charities led by, and which support, minoritised and racialised communities. The Foundation has announced that by the end of Spring 2021, it will open its Racial Equality strand of funding. This will take place once it has embedded the learning from 2020 and developed criteria that best respond to emerging needs.

Charities led by-and-for members of Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic communities can start their application from March 2021.

The Foundation has opened for 2021 applications and will remain open without deadlines throughout 2021.
