Grants of up to £10,000 are available for voluntary, community or social enterprise organisations supporting communities most affected by Covid-19 in Salford. Through the Community Response Fund, Salford CVS will award funding for activities that support the most vulnerable and disadvantaged residents to stay well nourished, connected, warm and well during the months of April to September 2021.
Activities might include food parcels, welfare/keep-in-touch phone calls, IT equipment and connectivity, and benefits advice, training and mentoring. Priority will be given to projects supporting Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people, Disabled people and other economically disadvantaged groups.
Funding is provided by Salford City Council. The deadline for applications is 12 noon on the 15th March 2021.
