The 1989 Willan Charitable Trust Fund supports registered charities, exempted and excepted organisations, whose activities benefit residents of Tyne & Wear, Northumberland, County Durham and Teesside. Priority will be given to those which ease social deprivation and/or enrich the fabric of the local community and the quality of life of individuals within that community.
Grants are available to support core and project costs, and will generally range from £750 to £10,000; the Fund aims to prioritise projects for which a Willan grant will represent a significant contribution to delivery of the work.
