Deutsche Bank Opportunity Fund - Birmingham

The focus of the Deutsche Bank Opportunity Fund is to help society’s most disadvantaged, and communities on the ground, supporting Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility mission of enabling communities and economies to prosper.

This year, Deutsche Bank has decided to shift the focus of the fund to increase its impact on one specific issue – homelessness. A report released by Shelter in November 2018 showed that the rate of homelessness in Birmingham is 1 in 66 (Shelter) and there had also been an increase in the number of rough sleepers.

This Fund will offer grants of up to £5,000 to grassroots organisations working within Birmingham.

The definition of homelessness means not having a home. You don’t have to be living on the street to be homeless – even if you have a roof over your head you can still be without a home. This may be because you don’t have any rights to stay where you live or your home is unsuitable for you.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Wednesday 13th October 2021.
