Fewer than one in 10 people working for environmental charities in the UK are from Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, a new report has shown.
According to data released today by the RACE Report campaign, 7% of those working in the environmental charity sector identify as BAME, compared with a 14% national average across all people in employment.
