Former Small Charities Coalition CEO becomes first director of City Sikhs


Former Small Charities Coalition chief executive Rita Chadha has been appointed as the first director of the charity City Sikhs.


Chadha left the Coalition earlier this year and has also held chief executive and trustee positions at Barking and Dagenham CVS and Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London.


She was appointed from a shortlist of four people, after the charity received 39 applications.


City Sikhs is a network of Sikh professionals across the UK which has more than 10,000 members. Inclusion and diversity across society are among the charity’s priorities.
