With cuts to youth services and the effects of the pandemic, our new cohort of panellists believe that young people lack mentorship programmes to help empower Camden’s young people, prevent and respond to youth violence, improve their mental health, and increase their employment opportunities. As a result, the third years Future Changemakers Fund will focus on employment opportunities with links to mentoring.
The Future Changemakers Fund panel will only consider projects which will improve the safety of Camden’s young people aged 16-25, with a focus on the following criteria:
Providing opportunities for young people to have positive and relatable role models or mentors.
Skills and Employment opportunities to improve mental health, life skills and career progression.
You are able to apply for grants of up to £10,000.
The third round of the fund will close on midnight on Sunday 25th July 2021.
