Grants of up to £1,000 are available to charities, community groups and social enterprises to help them continue to support older people in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath, North East Somerset and North Somerset during the winter months.
The St Monica Trust’s Winter Support Fund will provide support to groups to restart activities that older people aged 55 and over have missed during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Funding could be used to purchase equipment needed to safely deliver activities and services, or to help groups reimagine a previously much-loved activity e.g. socially distanced walking groups or telephone book clubs.
The Fund will run for the rest of 2020 and bids will be reviewed on a fortnightly basis.
The next deadline for applications will be 12pm on the 27th November 2020.
